Stretching on Yoga Mat

Girl Running

A 60 minute "music inspired" Total Body Work-out.  The perfect work-out sound track affects our minds and bodies in amazing ways.  It can boost motivation,  improve energy, mood and endurance, and even make you a little less aware of exertion and fatigue.  It's through this philosophy I hope to set the tone for a fun-filled, high-energy class that will target major  muscle groups, improve strength and functional fitness.  The 5 main elements of fitness will be covered;   Aerobic, strength, flexibility, core and balance.  So come and let that familiar lyric or pulsing beat help you get moving again or push you a little harder.  All moves can be modified to low or high intensity, so all levels welcome!

CARDIO-FIT

Young Joggers

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a type of interval training short periods of intense training short periods of recovery.  This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. This is a 30 minute class.
All fitness levels welcome.

Our class is for the person who would like to exercise hard for 30 minutes before starting your day. We incorporate a variety of exercises, working your total body using body weight, some equipment including weights, and cardio. We will help you modify as needed to meet your needs. All levels of ability are welcome to join our group!

I'm Ernie Hill and I have earned two certifications from the America Council on Exercise, (A.C.E.) a watchdog for the fitness industry, and the world’s largest non-profit fitness certifying organization. A.C.E. has earned respect as the certification that matters most in the industry because of its difficult exam. To maintain my certification and stay up to date on the latest fitness developments, I attend several hours of continuing education courses each year.

My name is Matt Dryden and I am the owner of The Body Shop Fitness Centers. I have 2 daughters, Mya and Tia who are very active in sports and have been helping behind the scenes of the fitness center since we opened in 2007. 

I have been involved in fitness since 2001, as a personal trainer. My interest in personal fitness training began when I was in law enforcement and realized the importance of being fit for duty. During my years in law enforcement, I worked with officers and others in fitness and nutrition training. In October of 2007 I left law enforcement and opened The Body Shop 24-7 Fitness Center in Shell Lake.

I currently work with; individuals of all ages in nutrition and fitness, helping them work towards their goals, athletes achieving higher performance levels in their desired sport(s), and I assist in programs for post injury / surgery recovery.
